It’s Akitu tomorrow, an ancient Assyrian and Babylonian festival which celebrates the start of spring and barley growing season. It’s also the start of Nisan, the first month of the Assyrian calendar (also Babylonian and Hebrew). I start with because life in itself is structured around seasons. A time for everything as Ecclesiastes 3 tells us – ups, downs and many things in between.
