Podcast: Bouncing back stronger from business failure
I recently caught up with Byron McCaughey, who hosts the Psychlings Podcast. Byron and I go back to 2019 where we met at an accelerator program in London. Both of us were Aussies, living on the other side of the world, trying to make our mark on the business world.
Byron and his co-founder's startup hit a rough patch and they both decided to pull up stumps and focus on other things in life, something which I found to be very noble and gracious at the time.
Byron has since built a career in psychology, adding to his distinguished academic career. In this episode, I speak to him about the lessons from business he used to build his new career where his long term passion was.
We speak about business failure, how to pivot, the importance of mental fitness and leadership development as a life-long process.
This was my second podcast into mental fitness and leadership development, a theme I’m starting to cover more closely after my investment and involvement in Liv. If you’re interested in learning more, I encourage you to visit the Liv website and book a trial session.
