Australian Stocks & Investment Market Outlook 2025 w/ Ivan Tchourilov

I recently caught up with a good friend of mine, Ivan Tchourilov to talk about the stock market and what’s likely to happen after President Trump assumes office later this month.

Ivan has been around the markets for almost 20 years and has previously run one of the largest national stockbroking and fintech companies.

The stock market is an important indicator of where the economy is going, and what happens on the stock market eventually flows through into the economy and residential real estate prices.

Ivan sees opportunities in non-tech companies which have lagged the big names. The stock market usually front runs the economy by around 6 months, so it’s a good preview of what to expect.

We’ve already started seeing real estate companies rising early this year and this indicates that stock market investors are seeing better times ahead for the real estate market.
